What we believe
Employees are already teaching AI how their company works. They write the prompts, paste the context, and refine the methods that make AI useful. The problem is that nobody controls what happens next. The best methods stay locked in private chats and get reinvented again and again, while anything that does spread is unreviewed, with nobody standing behind it. Companies get AI adoption without control.
knacks closes that gap with one loop: Publish, Approve, Ship, Use, Improve. Anyone describes repeated work in plain English and knacks drafts the skill with examples and tests. The team lead, the domain expert rather than IT, approves it. Approved skills land in the whole team's Claude, nothing to install, and live in the company's skill library, plain markdown files in a GitHub repository the company owns, each with a named owner, version history, and a one line changelog. When the owner improves a skill, the whole team is on the latest version immediately. Skills are current by default.
Just as important is what knacks does not do. There is no capture and no usage tracking, ever. knacks never sees chats, screens, or who runs what: no run counts, no user counts, no telemetry of any kind. Nothing is shared without a named person saying yes.
Who builds knacks
knacks is built by two co-founders who have worked hands-on with the teams that actually run AI in production.
- Nathan Van de Ridder, co-founder, leads go-to-market and AI systems. His work building AI into how B2B companies operate is where knacks started: seeing how much valuable AI work employees create, and how little of it the company actually reviews, approves, and stands behind.
- Vincent Cazenave, co-founder, leads product and engineering. He builds the engine that turns one person's published method into an approved skill the whole team can run.
The focus is practical. knacks is built for the messy reality of enterprise AI adoption, where useful methods start with one person and the company needs a clean path to turn the best ones into reviewed, reusable standards.
Who we build for
knacks is built for the leaders responsible for making AI adoption real: Heads of AI, RevOps, COOs, CROs, and operations leaders who want control over which AI methods their company runs on, rather than scattered private experimentation. If your teams use AI everywhere but the company is not getting structurally better at the work, that is the gap knacks is designed to close.
